The London Evening Standard is reporting that Chelsea are ready to make their move on Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini in the January transfer window.
The Belgium international is likely to face a lengthy ban from the Football Association after he head-butted Stoke City defender Ryan Shwcorss in one of three off-the-ball incidents.
However, this will not stop Chelsea going after the Everton man as they believe he could be a key man in what is a fairly weak midfield right now.
David Moyes was clearly fuming with his player after the incident in the English Premier League encounter and he could be thinking about offloading Fellaini and cashing-in on him while his stock is high.
It is thought that the European Champions are preparing a fee in excess of £20 million, which would of course be tough for the Toffees to turn down.
But the side from Stamford Bridge will not stop there, as they are also looking to bring in Atletico Madrid star Radamel Falcao and Arsenal winger Theo Walcott.
January could prove to be a very busy and expensive month for Chelsea, but an exciting one as well.
Can they lure these three men to the Bridge?
We shall see.
