If there is one club that everyone is going to follow during the January transfer window, it is Chelsea. The Blues are the side that were banned by FIFA and they were unable to sign new players last summer, but now after CAS allowed them to do so, the January spending spree looks to be set. Frank Lampard is ready to lose some players, such as Olivier Giroud and Marcos Alonso, but he also wants to see new faces.
One of those could be Leon Bailey, according to the Telegraph. Their report suggests that Lampard has shown an interest in Bayer Leverkusen winger, who has not been playing much this season for the German outfit. He has only 456 Bundesliga minutes to his name and he scored three goals, adding one assist to that. But the 22-year-old is a very interesting prospect.
Chelsea have been following him for a while, but maybe this deal becomes more realistic in the summer rather than midway through the season.
