Chelsea eye Llorente move

Chelsea are keen on signing Swansea City forward Fernando Llorente, according to the Independent.

The Premier League champions are on the lookout for further reinforcements having brought in Alvaro Morata for a club record transfer fee on Friday.

Llorente played with Morata under Blues boss Antonio Conte at Juventus in the 2014/15 campaign where together they won the Serie A title.

The thirty-two year old spent the following season with Sevilla, winning the Europa League before signing for Swansea last summer.

He made thirty-five appearances in all competitions for the South Wales side last season scoring fifteen goals, all of which coming in the league to help them avoid relegation.

Internationally, he has been capped twenty-four times for Spain and was part of the squads that won the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 European Championships though he hasn’t featured for them since playing in a friendly against Equatorial Guinea in 2013.
