The Mail Online understand that Chelsea are eyeing a £35m move for Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.
The twenty-six-year old has been a one of the key reasons why the Cherries have started the season in such fine form, scoring six goals in eleven league appearances with another strike coming in the EFL Cup victory over Blackburn Rovers in September.
His performances have earned him his first senior England call-up and he could make his debut in next week’s friendly against the United States, after the former Coventry City man made just one appearance for the U21s.
Chelsea are yet to lose this season, though Maurizio Sarri is keen to bolster his attacking options when the transfer window reopens in January.
Fellow forward Alvaro Morata has found his scoring boots since the former Napoli boss took charge at Stamford Bridge though Olivier Giroud’s only effort came in a 1-0 win over BATE in the Europa League.
