Premier League outfit Chelsea are the latest high-profile club to have shown interest in AC Milan full-back Mattia De Sciglio, according to Daily Express.
The Blues manager Antonio Conte knows the defender well having coached him in the Italy national team and he plans to bring him to Stamford Bridge at the earliest opportunity.
Chelsea are not exactly spoilt for options in full-back positions meaning the player who can successfully operate on either flank would be more than welcome.
The problem is that AC Milan are not too keen on selling one of their prized assets, and they have already rejected proposals from Juventus and Napoli.
However, Chelsea are ready to send the Rossoneri target Cesc Fabregas to San Siro as part of the deal and they hope that will give them the upper hand.
Mattia De Sciglio, 23, already has 90 Serie A appearances to his name, while he has earned 27 Italy caps.
