The Daily Mail has suggested that Premier League leaders Chelsea are weighing up a summer move for West Ham forward Enner Valencia.
Jose Mourinho might decide to add another striker to his ranks given that Didier Drogba has turned 37 and Loic Remy has missed a large chunk of the season through various injuries.
According to the Daily Mail, the Portuguese manager is ready to rekindle his interest in West Ham’s Enner Valencia.
The Chelsea boss considered a move for the Ecuador star last summer, but the 25-year-old eventually signed for the Hammers.
He has since showed some potential, scoring 4 goals in 26 Premier League appearances, although he was not always used as a centre forward.
Valencia had impressed playing for Ecuador at the 2014 World Cup, bagging three goals in as many appearances at the tournament finals, but he couldn’t help La Tri qualify for the knockout rounds.
