Premier League leaders Chelsea are looking to strengthen the grip on their title bid this January as the London club consider bringing several reinforcements during the January transfer window.
And according to The Guardian, Antonio Conte has identified Monaco players Tiemoue Bakayoko and Djibril Sidibe as top transfer targets, although Roma’s Antonio Rudiger and Radja Nainggolan were intensely scouted over the last couple of months.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and technical director Michael Emenaldo watched Monaco men in action against Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League and have made both the French club and the players themselves aware of the interest.
Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko played 13 Ligue 1 games this season, whereas defender Djibril Sidibe notched two appearances more for the Principality club.
Chelsea are primarily look to add fresh blood in the backline and midfield, seeing that Brazilian midfielder Oscar is set to leave club for a move to China in January.
