Chelsea go after Belotti

According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Chelsea are set to pursue a move for Torino striker Andrea Belotti this summer.

The belief is that Belotti is unlikely to renew his current contract with the club and, at the age of 27, is finally looking into the possibility of leaving Torino in search of pastures new.

Chelsea, Everton, Atletico Madrid and AC Milan are the four clubs currently believed to be in with a shout of signing him but with a few months left to go of the season, it’s not yet known which direction he’ll go in.

The belief is that this interest could definitively bring an end to Chelsea’s pursuit of Erling Haaland and while that may be upsetting for some Blues fans to hear, it was always going to be tough given how competitive the race to sign the Norwegian is.

For now, though, the speculation goes on.
