Chelsea go after Guimaraes

According to a recent report from GiveMeSport, Chelsea are currently weighing up a move for Newcastle star Bruno Guimaraes.

While there are plenty of Newcastle players who have been thriving ever since Eddie Howe took over as manager, Bruno Guimaraes is one who stands out above the rest more often than not. His decision to move to Tyneside in the first place was met with confusion but given that the Magpies are currently sat in a Champions League position, we’d argue it’s paying off quite nicely.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are making steady progress under new manager Graham Potter, and it appears as if he’s already looking at interesting new ways to add to his squad.

Guimaraes certainly isn’t the only option out there with the likes of Moises Caicedo, Declan Rice, Jude Bellingham, Edson Alvarez and Weston McKennie all being in the mix.

If the Blues are going to do it, they may even make a move as early as January.
