Chelsea go after Raphinha

According to a recent report from Forbes, Chelsea are the most likely side to sign Barcelona star Raphinha.

The Brazilian star made the switch to La Liga back in the summer, making the move over from Premier League side Leeds United. Alas, if this report is to be believed, it seems as if he’s interested in returning to the chaos of English football’s top tier.

Raphinha’s fantastic performances for the Yorkshire earned him a move to the Spanish giants but, more than likely, someone will be taking him off of Barca’s hands either in January or the summer transfer window.

Chelsea, as noted, are leading the way, with Barcelona being willing to sell for the £58 million fee they paid Leeds last year.

The Blues are in desperate need of some fresh legs. Graham Potter has a solid squad at his disposal, but the confidence in the first team has evaporated since he first took charge.
