Chelsea go after Sancho

According to a recent report from Bild, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is planning on going after Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.

The belief is that the Blues are now being positioned as the favourites to land his signature, and while Dortmund wanted £107 million for him last summer, they would now be willing to let him go for just £78 million.

Tuchel also wants to try and bring in a striker to potentially replace the out-of-form Timo Werner, despite the fact he has a perfectly suitable alternative in Tammy Abraham.

Sancho is easily one of the most exciting players in world football and there aren’t many folks out there who would deny such a claim, but up to this point, it’s felt as if a few other clubs had the advantage over Chelsea in terms of the race for his signature.

Now, though, the Blues are ready to storm right to the front of the queue.
