Chelsea go big for Gordon

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Chelsea are prepared to pay big money in order to sign Anthony Gordon this summer.

The links between Gordon and Stamford Bridge have been notable and while some don’t quite understand why he’s the man they’re looking for, others think he could be a diamond in the rough – alas, it often depends on your perspective.

The Blues are said to be willing to pay up to £60 million for the signing of the Everton striker but up to this point, the Toffees have said the player isn’t going to be for sale throughout the transfer window.

The £60 million fee does include possible add-ons and when you really take a look at what Thomas Tuchel is trying to achieve here by bringing a new forward in, Gordon feels like a bit of a desperation move.

Who knows, perhaps The 21-year-old will prove us all wrong.
