According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Chelsea are not willing to pay over €45 million to sign Juventus forward Paulo Dybala.
For the longest time it has seemed as if Dybala is destined to leave Juve in favour of pastures new, but whenever that appears to be coming to fruition, the rug is pulled out from underneath us.
Dybala is clearly still one of the most intriguing forwards in world football today but at this stage, it’s kind of bizarre to think that Chelsea want to try and pursue yet another attacking star.
They already have an embarrassment of riches in the final third and yet, the reason they’re giving for not wanting to bring Dybala in is the money.
It makes more sense to think that they want to really grow and harness the players they’ve got at their disposal, because they’ve got a squad capable of achieving some big things.
