Premier League champions Chelsea are readying January bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal, according to La Cuarta.
Following the slow start to the season, Antonio Conte is eager to reinforce his ranks, and signing a quality central midfielder is a priority.
According to La Cuarta, the Italian manager has reignited his interest in Bayern’s Arturo Vidal and even called the Chilean to tell him the Blues were ready to double his current salary.
While he currently earns €7.5 million per campaign, the attacking midfielder was offered a four-year deal worth €15 million per season at Stamford Bridge.
The pair worked together at Juventus, winning three Serie A trophies in a row, and they could now get reunited in London.
