Spanish media outlet AS is reporting that Premier League leaders Chelsea are considering a January bid for Swansea striker Fernando Llorente.
The Blues currently have Michy Batshuayi acting as a back-up to Diego Costa, but Antonio Conte seems keen to improve his attacking options.
According to AS, the Italian manager plans to get reunited with Fernando Llorente at Stamford Bridge having worked with the striker at Juventus in the past.
Conte is well aware of the Spaniard’s qualities and he believes the player can still perform at the highest level.
Llorente joined Swansea City from Sevilla in the summer and even though he enjoyed a slow start, the 31-year-old managed to prove his worth in English Premier League.
The striker went on to score 6 goals in 15 outings for the relegation-threatened side and he could now be rewarded with an unexpected big club move in January.
