Premier League holders Chelsea are weighing up January bid for Leicester City striker Islam Slimani, according to The Times.
It is no secret that Antonio Conte plans to recruit another centre forward this winter, and he has been linked with moves for Andy Carroll, Peter Crouch, Fernando Llorente and Christian Benteke, among others.
The Times has now suggested that Chelsea are set to submit a loan offer for Leicester City striker Islam Slimani.
The Foxes record signing has struggled for playing time this season and it is believed he will be made available for sale.
Having impressed at Sporting CP and also in his maiden Premier League campaign, Slimani is now on the radar of English champions Chelsea, but it remains to be seen whether the two clubs will find common ground.
