Chelsea interested in Chiesa

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Chelsea are interested in trying to sign Juventus forward Federico Chiesa.

The belief is that the European champions are ready to put forward an offer believed to be worth around £84 million, giving Chiesa an alternative to moving to Juventus on a permanent basis. He’s currently on loan with the Old Lady from Fiorentina, with Chelsea being the ones most invested in signing him.

He’s also attracted attention from Bayern Munich but Thomas Tuchel has particular interest in adding him to his already-impressive squad, seemingly with the intention of building a super team.

Chiesa has been a source of intrigue for many of Europe’s elite for a few years now. Fiorentina appear to have resigned themselves to the idea of him leaving, and while the Blues appear to have more than enough star power up top, they’ve still taken a really keen interest in the Italian.
