According to a recent report from Todofichajes, Chelsea are considering a move to try and sign Ruben Neves from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The belief is that Thomas Tuchel wants to reinforce his midfield with Saul Niguez failing to live up to the hype since his arrival. Wolves reportedly want a fee of around £38 million (at least) for a deal involving Neves, but something tells us that’s going to end up being much higher.
Just this past weekend, Chelsea fans were given a pretty good glimpse into what it means for their club to go after someone like Neves with the Portuguese maestro putting in another solid performance.
He’s easily one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and potentially even in world football, and something tells us he’d slot straight into the Blues’ starting XI.
For now, though, Chelsea need to focus on getting themselves back in form on the pitch.
