Chelsea interested in Onana

According to a recent report from Sport, Chelsea are well and truly in the running to try and sign Andre Onana. The potential deal is said to be worth around €40 million with Frank Lampard recently making the decision to try and replace Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Kepa has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge in a big way over the course of the last few weeks, with Lampard not wasting any time in trying to mix things up in goal.

It’s been a fairly stagnant period for Chelsea in the Premier League and if they want to stand any sort of chance in the race for the top four, or top five, then they need to steady the ship.

For the remainder of the season it’ll have to be Kepa or Caballero who needs to step up but in the summer, we could be seeing Onana make the journey over from Ajax to Chelsea.
