According to a recent report from Bild, Chelsea are considering the possibility of bringing in Ralf Rangnick as their new manager – if Maurizio Sarri winds up completing his expected move to Juventus. The German boss took over as RB Leipzig manager last season, with the belief being that he is set to take a new role during the summer transfer window. Alas, that may not end up coming to fruition in quite the way many had anticipated, with Stamford Bridge looking like his next destination.
The Blues may have won the Europa League last season and secured their passage back into the Champions League, but there’s still a great deal of uncertainty surrounding the club right now. For the most part that’s because of the situation surrounding Sarri, but the fact that they are unable to make many moves in the transfer window due to their ban also doesn’t help matters.
