Chelsea interested in Sterling

According to a recent report from The Telegraph, Chelsea are contemplating a surprise move for Raheem Sterling this summer.

The belief is that Sterling is ready to move on from Manchester City in the next few months with the Englishman having just one year left on his current deal. It also indicates that Chelsea are showing the most interest out of anyone right now with Real Madrid also keeping a close eye on his situation at the Etihad.

Sterling isn’t the only man they’re taking a look at, though, with the Blues watching a number of top forwards in the hope of bringing a big name to Stamford Bridge.

While it has yet to be confirmed, it’d make sense for this to be done in anticipation of Romelu Lukaku leaving the club with his proposed move back to Inter Milan edging closer and closer following a poor first campaign back in the Premier League.
