Chelsea join chase for Daniel Wass

Le 10 Sport is reporting that Premier League leaders Chelsea are the latest side to have shown interest in Evian star Daniel Wass.

The Denmark international has been attracting a lot of attention with his impressive showings in French Ligue 1 and he is widely tipped to leave les Roses for a top European club.

While Marseille and few other French sides are keen, Le 10 Sport claims that Chelsea are in the mix as well.

Daniel Wass will be available for a nominal price in January given that his contract is due to expire at the end of the season, and Evian boss Pascal Dupraz has already confirmed his star player will be sold.

The 25-year-old has scored impressive 7 goals in 14 league outings this season, and while he has been mostly used as a winger while with les Roses, Wass is perfectly capable of playing at right-back, left-back or even as a central midfielder.
