Il Corriere della Sera has suggested that Premier League leaders Chelsea are hot on the trail of Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic.
Manchester United are believed to be readying a €60 million proposal for the Croatia star, and it seems that the Blues are looking to pip their Premiership rivals to the player’s signature.
The Blues will reportedly offer €65 million as they are clearly keen on bringing Perisic to Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window.
Inter Milan may be forced to sell one key player in the summer as they are planning a heavy recruitment and cannot afford to break Financial Fair Play regulations.
And with Ivan Perisic recently turning 28, this will feel as a perfect opportunity to secure the best possible price for his services.
The Croatian footballer has spent last two years at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, scoring 17 goals in 65 Serie A matches.
