Premier League champions Chelsea are showing interest in Valencia full-back Joao Cancelo, Sky Sports can reveal.
It is no secret that manager Antonio Conte is far from happy with club’s dealings in the summer transfer window and he hopes to recruit few more quality footballers before the end of the month.
Sky Sports claims that the Italian has now set his sights on Valencia right-back Joao Cancelo, who can also operate on the right wing, and would, therefore, be a good fit for Chelsea’s 3-4-3 formation.
Having impressed after joining los Che from Benfica, the 23-year-old has been linked with quite a few top sides, but he has yet to leave for greener pastures.
It is believed that Valencia are prepared to listen to offers for their star player and Chelsea are now expected to come forward with an official proposal.
