Chelsea join race for AC Milan wonderkid

Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Premier League giants Chelsea have joined the chase for AC Milan hotshot Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The 17-year-old has already become one of world’s most sought-after footballers, with Juventus reportedly looking to sign the Rossoneri starlet when Gianluigi Buffon retires from football.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is a big fan of Donnarumma and he has already contacted his agent Mino Raiola to enquire about the possibility of bringing him to Stamford Bridge.

The youngster has less than two years left on his current deal, meaning that AC Milan need to quickly extend his contract or risk losing their prized asset at the end of the season.

Chances are that the Rossoneri will not be able to hold on to Donnarumma for much longer, but a winter exit is definitely out of the question despite interest from Juventus and Chelsea.
