Premier League leaders Chelsea are set to join the race to sign Radamel Falcao, according to the Metro.
The Colombia international moved to Manchester United on loan from Monaco last summer, has struggled to recreate his best form since arriving at Old Trafford though a number of the Premier League’s big hitters remain interested in bringing him in.
United themselves have not ruled out pursuing a permanent deal for the 29 year old, while their fierce rivals Liverpool have also thrown their hat in the ring.
However, with Diego Costa constantly struggling with injury and Didier Drogba likely to hang up his boots at the end of the season, Jose Mourinho is considering making a move.
In twenty-three appearances for Louis van Gaal’s side, Falcao has hit the back of the net just four times but has an impressive goal scoring ratio at each of his previous four clubs.
United travel to Everton on Sunday afternoon, and Falcao is priced at 2/1 to score at any time.
