France Football is reporting that Premier League leaders Chelsea are hot on the trail of Atalanta star Franck Kessie.
The Ivorian is almost certain to leave Orobici for greener pastures in the January transfer window, with Juventus reportedly leading the chase for his services.
The likes of Liverpool and Spurs have been linked with moves for the Ivory Coast international, but it appears that Chelsea have joined the chase as well.
According to France Football, the Blues are prepared to offer around €25 million for the 20-year-old footballer, who will be the subject of a real bidding war in January.
Kessie has enjoyed a remarkable start to his professional career, impressing during the loan stint with Cesena before going on to score 6 goals in his first 16 Serie A appearances.
The central midfielder will now take part at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, while he should soon exchange the Atalanta jersey for that of a top European club.
