Fiorentina midfielder Federico Chiesa is said to be a transfer target for Premier League title contenders Chelsea.
The Blues have enjoyed a perfect start to the new season in England under Maurizio Sarri but are looking to strengthen their squad further once the transfer window re-opens during winter.
Striker Aleksandar Mitrovic of Fulham is the name being linked with the Stamford Bridge side although Sarri is said to be eyeing a midfielder as well.
The English sources are citing the Italian media claiming that Fiorentina starlet Federico Chiesa has emerged as a January target. The 20-year-old midfielder is one of the highest rated prospects in Europe and is attracting interest from the likes of Juventus, Napoli and Liverpool.
The Serie A champions Juventus attempted to land him last summer but saw their £50 million bid turned down.
Manchester United are another top side being linked with a move for Chiesa. Fiorentina will not, however, entertain any offers that go below 63 million, it is understood.
