Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has been showing interest in talented English defenders Ben Gibson and Michael Keane, according to the Daily Mail.
Despite bringing David Luiz back to the club, the Italian wants to sign a natural successor to club icon John Terry and it appears that he will be shopping in England.
Chelsea scouts are currently keeping close tabs on Middlesbrough stopper Ben Gibson and Burnley centre-back Michael Keane, who could be moving to Stamford Bridge in the near future.
The two youngsters have largely impressed playing for their respective sides in the Championship, and they have since quickly adapted to the Premier League demands.
Ben Gibson, 23, is the product of Middlesbrough youth academy and he has been a first team regular at Riverside for three years now.
Michael Keane, 23, came through the youth ranks at Manchester United, and he made a permanent switch to Burnley in January 2015.
