Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly considering a summer move for Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah, Daily Mirror has learned.
The Ghanaian footballer is being heavily linked with a summer exit, having struggled for playing time under Max Allegri.
And it appears that his former boss Antonio Conte could offer the player an escape route from Turin, as the current Italy head coach hopes to get reunited with Asamoah at Stamford Bridge.
With Cesar Azpilicueta a target for Athletic Bilbao, Conte wants the Ghanaian to replace the Spaniard on the left hand side.
Despite mostly operating as a central midfielder in the past, Asamoah was predominantly used as left-back by Antonio Conte and he excelled immediately after joining the club from Udinese.
The highly rated footballer missed a large chunk of the previous season through injury, but it appears that he could, nonetheless, make a lucrative move to Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
