Chelsea are being linked with moves for French footballers Eliaquim Mangala and Gianelli Imbula, reports Daily Express.
With David Luiz’s future at Stamford Bridge in doubt and John Terry not getting any younger, the Blues are expected to make a move on long-term target Eliaquim Mangala.
The 22-year-old is widely regarded as one of Europe’s top centre-backs, but the problem is Manchester United and Manchester City are also keen.
Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho has been alerted of the potential of Marseille midfielder Gianelli Imbula.
The 21-year-old only joined OM this summer from Guingamp, but he has immediately commanded a starting berth at Stade Velodrome.
Considering the circumstances, it would take a substantial offer for Marseille to even consider their summer acquisition.
Chelsea haven’t had the best of starts to the Premier League campaign, but the Blues are 13/5 to get back on track and lift the league title for the first time since 2010.
