Premier League high flyers Chelsea are keeping close tabs on Fiorentina star Milan Badelj, according to La Nazione.
The Blues are widely expected to offload Cesc Fabregas in the January transfer window and are, therefore, looking to sign a quality central midfielder.
Italian daily newspaper La Nazione claims that Antonio Conte is a big fan of Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj and he will attempt to bring the Croatian footballer to Stamford Bridge.
The 27-year-old has largely impressed since joining Viola from Hamburger SV, and he has also emerged as a top target for AC Milan.
But, considering that the Rossoneri are closer to signing Cesc Fabregas, Badelj could easily end up replacing the Spaniard at Chelsea.
The highly rated footballer has so far failed to reach an agreement with Fiorentina officials over a new deal at Artemio Franchi, which is a problem for the club due to the fact that the current contract is due to expire in June 2018.
