Radio Monte Carlo has suggested that Premier League leaders Chelsea are looking at three Monaco stars.
The Principality club have been in stunning form this season and a number of their first team regulars are being closely watched by Europe’s top sides.
Chelsea scouts were present at Stade Louis II as Monaco defeated Borussia Dortmund in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie and it has now been revealed which players were at the centre of their attention.
Midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is believed to be on the verge of joining the Blues in the summer transfer window and the Premier League side made another check on the 22-year-old footballer.
Fellow midfielder Thomas Lemar is also on Chelsea’s radar, with the 21-year-old acting as team’s main creative outlet under Leonardo Jardim.
Last but not least, the Blues were looking at left-back Benjamin Mendy, who has also been in fine form this season.
After reaching the semi-finals with a double win over Borussia Dortmund, Monaco can be backed at 13/2 to lift their first ever Champions League trophy.
