Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon remained tight-lipped when questioned on whether Carlo Ancelotti could become their permanent manager in the summer.
Kenyon is refusing to be drawn on the Ancelotti speculation, stating only that everyone at the club is looking to do their best to help Hiddink in Chelsea’s bid to win the title. “I don’t want to comment,” Kenyon said. “We are concentrating on Guus being with us until the end of the season. He’s continuing to progress and win us games so we are all very delighted.
“The whole agreement was for a short-term, interim period and that is how it remains.”
