Chelsea lead chase for Ibrahimovic

ESPN is reporting that Premier League holders Chelsea are hot on the trail of PSG superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Blues are desperate to recruit a world-class striker in the light of their attacking problems and manager Jose Mourinho looks set to launch an ambitious bid for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The pair worked together at Inter Milan during one of club’s most successful periods and they could now be reunited at Stamford Bridge.

This is probably the right time to try and recruit the Sweden hotshot considering that his deal at Parc des Princes is due to expire at the end of the season.

And with the recent reports suggesting that Ibrahimovic could be interested in a move to English Premier League, Chelsea might just be able to succeed in their quest.

Despite turning 34 in October, the forward is showing no signs of slowing down, having bagged 10 goals in 11 league outings this term, while netting 11 times in the Euro 2016 qualifiers for Sweden.
