Chelsea lead race to sign Reguilon

According to a recent report from AS, Chelsea are now considered to be the favourites in the race to try and sign Real Madrid defender Sergio Reguilon – once his loan deal with Sevilla comes to an end.

For a while now it’s seemed as if Everton have been the ones in the driving seat, but now, the Blues are starting to take control of the situation – or, at least, so it seems.

Chelsea have already been incredibly busy during the summer transfer window, and it doesn’t seem as if Frank Lampard is going to be slowing down any time soon. Reguilon, who is attempting to help guide Sevilla to yet another Europa League title, has been at the heart of many rumours regarding his future. The majority of these rumours and reports seem to make it clear that the Premier League is a likely destination for him, and this reaffirms that belief.
