Chelsea are leading the race to sign Portsmouth full-back Glen Johnson, according to The Sun.
Portsmouth have received offers from Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City of around £18million in recent days.
Bayern Munich and Tottenham have also shown an interest in the 24-year-old England international.
Johnson joined Portsmouth from Chelsea in a £4million deal in the summer of 2007, after failing to make an impact at Stamford Bridge.
Johnson started only 35 league games during his four years at Chelsea.
Reports suggest Manchester City could be ready to offer Johnson a massive £100,000 a week deal to join the club.
