Chelsea are readying summer bid for Newcastle shot-stopper Tim Krul, Daily Mail has revealed.
The Blues chiefs are not entirely satisfied with the performances of first choice keeper Petr Cech, who has never been the same since fracturing his scull in 2006.
According to Daily Mail, Chelsea are eager to sign Newcastle keeper Tim Krul as a long-term replacement for the Czech goalie.
The young Dutchman has been in scintillating form this season and the string of sensational saves helped Newcastle remain in contention for a top four finish.
The English newspaper claims that Magpies will not stand in the player’s way if the Blues meet their £15 million valuation.
Chelsea are ready to offer the 24-year-old around £90,000 per week, which should be enough to bring the player to Stamford Bridge.
Krul has been an ever present for the Magpies this term, having started all 33 Premier League games.
