Chelsea are pondering a move for Milan youngster Bryan Cristiante, Metro has revealed.
The 17-year-old is regarded as one of the most talented players in the Rossoneri youth squad and is predicted a glorious career.
The highly rated midfielder joined the first team for pre-season training last summer and was handed a debut in the Champions League match against Viktoria Plzen.
However, the player has failed to make a single appearance for the senior side since and has been contemplating a move away from San Siro.
Metro reports that Chelsea are prepared to offer Cristante an escape route from Milan as they plan to submit an official bid in the January transfer window.
The problem is the Blues are not the only high-profile side interested in the talented midfielder, with Juventus and Roma also keen.
Metro believes Cristante wouldn’t cost more than £1 million, which is likely to spark a real bidding war in January.
