Chelsea linked with Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele

Chelsea want to sign Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona in the summer transfer window, according to Football Transfers. The report has claimed that new Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino personally admires Dembele and could ask his bosses at the Premier League club to make a bid for the forward.

Dembele has a release clause of €50 million in his contract at Barcelona. There are no indications yet that La Liga champions Barcelona want to sell the former Borussia Dortmund forward in the summer transfer window. Dembele himself is not pushing for a move away from Camp Nou.

The 26-year-old Frenchman made 16 starts and nine substitute appearances in La Liga for Barcelona last season. Dembele scored five goals and gave seven assists in those games. Barcelona won the La Liga title with ease last season and will determined to make a big impact in the UEFA Champions League next campaign.
