Chelsea linked with former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea

Chelsea are interested in signing former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. De Gea is a free agent at the moment after being released by United at the end of last season, and Premier League rivals Chelsea are considering a move for the Spaniard.

Former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners Chelsea are on the hunt for a new goalkeeper because of the imminent department of Kepa Arrizabalaga. The Spain international goalkeeper is on his way to La Liga giants Real Madrid on a loan deal, so the Blues need to find a replacement.

De Gea is one of the best goalkeepers in the world and remains at the top of his game. The 32-year-old had been on the books of United since 2011 and has been superb for the Red Devils. De Gea has made 415 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career, keeping 147 clean sheets in those games.
