Chelsea linked with Rahman move

Chelsea are eyeing a move for Ausburg full-back Baba Rahman, according to the Metro.

The £20m rated defender only moved to the Bundesliga last summer, and has racked up thirty-one appearances in helping them achieve a fifth place finish.

Jose Mourinho’s side are only the lookout for a new full-back with Felipe Luis looking likely to leave the Blues after a disappointing campaign in England.

Atletico Madrid are interested in re-signing the 29 year old, who made just nine league starts for the recently crowned Champions.

Should Luis leave, it would give Mourinho to green light to pursue Rahman, who has eleven full international caps for Ghana and was part of their squad that finished as runners up in the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.

Chelsea came from behind to beat Sunderland at Stamford Bridge yesterday afternoon, to end the season on a high having wrapped up the title earlier this month.
