Premier League leaders Chelsea are keeping close tabs on Michael Antonio and Jonas Hector, The Times has suggested.
Even though Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso have done fairly well this season, the Blues manager Antonio Conte will attempt to reinforce the full-back positions in the January window.
West Ham United winger Michael Antonio, who has also operated as a centre forward this term, has emerged as the Italian’s top target for the right wing position, which is hardly surprising given his impressive performances this term.
The 26-year-old started all but one Premier League fixture this term, bagging no fewer than eight goals in the process.
At the same time, Chelsea are looking at FC Koln left-back Jonas Hector, who has long been linked with a big club move.
The Germany international has so far resisted temptation to leave the Bundesliga minnows for greener pastures, but he is likely to be flattered by the reported interest from the Blues.
