Portuguese media outlet O Jogo has learned that Chelsea scouts have watched Benfica hotshot Talisca at the weekend.
The Blues boss Jose Mourinho has long ago expressed interest in the 20-year-old footballer and it is believed he could try and lure him to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, he has instructed his scouts to compile reports on the Brazilian attacker, and Chelsea officials were in attendance as Benfica defeated Belenenses this weekend.
Talisca has suffered a small dip in form of late, following the brilliant start to the season, and he has now failed to score in last five matches in all competitions.
Nevertheless, the forward has enjoyed a bright start to his career in Portugal, bagging no less than 8 goals in 12 league outings.
Despite sitting three points clear at the top of the league standings, Benfica can still be backed at 6/5 to defend the Primeira Liga trophy.
