Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United are said to have opened negotiations over a possible January move for in-demand defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Senegalese centre-back has been linked with the Blues for some time now but the Italian media now reports that Manchester United have also joined chase for his signature.
The Partenopei respresentatives – Aurelio De Laurentiis, Cristiano Giuntoli – and a renowned football agent Fali Ramadani met in a hotel in Naples last week to discuss the future of Koulibaly.
Senegal defender has been of particular interest for the Macedonian football agend, Ramadani, who is known to be very close to Chelsea hierarchy.
Napoli president De Laurentiis reportedly set his price on the defender with reports claiming that Kloulibaly will not be allowed to leave San Paolo for anything less than €105 million.
Napoli are highly unlikely to sanction the transfer of their prized asset in the middle of a season and at a delicate moment in which the Partenopei are fighting to remain in the running for the next stage of the Champions League.
