Chelsea move for Ibrahimovic

The Daily Star understands that Chelsea have offered a lucrative two-year deal to Paris Saint Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Sweden international is set to be out of contract at the end of the season, and clubs in Europe, China and the MLS are monitoring his situation.

Ibrahimovic is in stunning for this season with his winning goal against Chelsea in their Champions League last sixteen second leg tie last week his thirty-first of the season while scored four in Sunday’s 9-0 demolition of Troyes.

In total he has one hundred and forty-one goals in one hundred and sixty-seven appearances in all competitions having also been prolific in his spells with Milan, Barcelona, Internazionale, Juventus, Ajax and Malmo.

PSG booked their place in the quarter finals of Europe’s top club competition after beating Guus Hiddink’s side 4-2 on aggregate and they can be backed at 8/1 to lift the trophy in May.
