Ramires has signed a new five-year contract with Chelsea which keeps him at Stamford Bridge until 2017.
The Brazilian midfielder, who was signed by Carlo Ancelotti in August 2010 from Benfica, has made 71 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions.
“I am very happy with my new contract,” he told reporters.
“I am very happy with the support I have playing for this club so I want to say thank you to Chelsea.”
The 24-year-old is currently in his second season at the club and signs after making his 50th Premier League appearance in the 1-0 defeat at West Brom on Saturday.
