Chelsea offered Coutinho

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Chelsea are amongst the clubs who have been offered the chance to sign Philippe Coutinho during the upcoming summer transfer window. While there is a great deal of uncertainty surrounding whether or not the window will even be open, and how long it’ll even be for, it’s safe to say that Coutinho is a man who will likely be on the move when it does.

Coutinho is currently on loan at Bayern Munich from Barcelona, but the German giants are not expected to take up the option to sign him on a permanent deal. Barcelona also aren’t particularly interested in keeping him on the books, opening the door for the Blues to really make something happen.

With a string of Chelsea stars being tipped to leave, such as Willian, Olivier Giroud and Pedro, this could be a move that makes sense for the club.
