Premier League giants Chelsea have been offered a chance to sign Italian striker Simone Zaza from Juventus, La Gazzetta dello Sport has suggested.
The Blues are looking to add another centre forward to their ranks after recruiting Michy Batshuayi, due to the fact that Diego Costa may be on the move.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Chelsea now have an opportunity to sign Juventus forward Simone Zaza, who could be reunited with Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge.
Namely, the Bianconeri are desperate to bring Nemanja Matic to Turin, with the player also eager to join the Italian champions.
However, new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte doesn’t want to let the Serbian leave this summer, despite the fact that Juventus could offer top dollar for his services.
In an attempt to make their former head coach change his mind, the Bianconeri have offered to swap Simone Zaza for Nemanja Matic, but the Blues are unlikely to be interested in such an arrangement.
