Chelsea are prepared to consider offers for Armando Broja this summer, according to several sources.
Journalist Ben Jacobs reports that Fulham hold serious interest in the Albanian striker. Wolverhampton Wanderers also want him in their ranks, but at this point, they would prefer a loan for the rest of the season to a permanent transfer. West Ham were interested in Broja in the past, and therefore might re-enter the race at any point.
Chelsea’s main problem this season has been inability to convert chances, and it seems manager Mauricio Pochettino doesn’t consider Broja to be the solution.
The 22-year-old recovered from an ACL injury at the start of the season, and he’s been getting gradually back to full fitness. He started four of the last seven Premier League matches for Chelsea, but he is yet to play a whole match in the league this term. In all competitions, he’s so far made 17 appearances, scoring two goals and contributing one assist.
Broja is under contract until the summer of 2028, and Chelsea apparently value his services at more than £35 million.
Chelsea will consider an Armando Broja sale, as @David_Ornstein reported. Fulham interest is serious. Wolves would still prefer a loan. West Ham can’t be discounted due to historical interest. Sources indicate Chelsea value Broja at £35m+.🔵 pic.twitter.com/CmPcbzZ4i4
